Travelling to London

  • Gatwick Airport is located 45km south of London. The Gatwick Express is the fastest way into central London, taking 30 minutes to London Victoria Station. Coaches from London Victoria Coach Station to Gatwick take around 1 hour and 20 minutes. For more information click here.
  • Heathrow Airport is located 32km to the west of central London. You can easily travel to central London by train on the Heathrow Express, the Piccadilly line on the Tube, taxi, the N9 night bus and National Express and Easybus coaches. For more information click here.
  • Stansted Airport is located 64km to the north-east of London. The Stansted Express is the quickest way into central London with trains to London Liverpool Street taking 47 minutes. There are also National Express, easyBus and Terravision coaches to central London. Black cabs do not operate from Stansted, make sure to use a licensed minicab instead.   • City Airport is the closest airport to central London and is easily accessible by Tube and DLR, as well as taxi and bus. For more information click here 
  • Luton Airport is located to the north-west of central London. Trains from Luton to central London take between 20 and 40 minutes; Luton Airport Parkway train station is 10 minutes from the airport by shuttle bus. For more information click here. 
  • London Southend Airport is located 64km from Central London. Trains run to London Liverpool Street Station (via Stratford) and the journey time is less than an hour. For more information click here.
  • If you are travelling from Paris, Lille, Marseille, Avignon, Lyon, Amsterdam, Brussels, or Bruges the Eurostar train will bring you to King’s Cross station in central London. For more information click here.
